Serving on the negotiating committee for our last Exhibit A, TV Theatrical contract opened my eyes to the amount of work being done on the membership's behalf by our staff, committees, and board members.
I was inspired.
Years of hard work got us over the goal line of merger. Now comes the challenge of delivering on the promise and potential of our new Union. I'm asking you for the opportunity to be a part of the team that addresses that challenge head on.
I'll bring to the table a fresh set of eyes on the problems at hand, the ability to listen and process different points of view, a respect for the membership, and a passion for our Union.
As an actor, I work in film, theater and television. I have worked background, voice-over, industrial, commercial, under-five, day player, guest star, principal, low-budget, studio, cable and network contracts and understand the issues important to artists who make their living job by job by job.
If elected I will advocate for a forward thinking digital media plan, strong, innovative contracts, and strategies to organize new work. I look forward to being a part of a diverse and flexible board with the skills to respond to the needs of its members and prepare for our complex future.
Thanks for your consideration.
